Mon parcours

My Journey

From the beginning of my career, I have been deeply interested in the complexities of human experiences that shape our lives. After earning my bachelor’s degree in nursing, I specialized in mental health with a master’s degree in nursing sciences and psychiatric care. This advanced training equips me to conduct comprehensive evaluations and provide insightful diagnostic impressions.

My professional growth has been enriched by additional certifications, including Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), to diversify my therapeutic approach. My time as a birth doula also deepened my understanding of perinatal realities and fostered a special sensitivity to the needs of parents.

Psychiatric Care

Psychiatric Care

I spent several years working at the Gatineau Hospital in the short-term psychiatric unit. This role allowed me to develop a strong expertise in supporting patients in crisis, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.

Collaboration with OSP

Collaboration with OSP

I joined the team of therapists at the Sandy Hill Community Health Centre, contributing to the Ontario Structured Psychotherapy (OSP) program. This position allowed me to refine my skills in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a proven approach for treating various psychological challenges.

A Word About Zuma

Zuma, my therapy dog, is present during sessions to enhance your therapeutic experience. With his hypoallergenic coat, he is suitable even for individuals sensitive to allergies. If his presence is a concern for you, please let me know in advance. I will ensure your preferences are respected, whether that means keeping him at a distance or addressing any specific concerns you may have.
